And what could taste better than natural and seasonal products from the region?
Start the day in a relaxed atmosphere at our hotel with a lovingly prepared breakfast buffet, which offers you a varied selection of regional and freshly prepared delicacies.
The topics of regionality and sustainability generally enjoy a high priority at Hotel Riedl. A special evening has been dedicated to them: the "Heimatliebe" gourmet evening. (included as part of half board - days may vary and are included depending on the length of stay).
Furthermore, hotel guests who have chosen the gourmet half-board at the Riedl can enjoy cold starters from the buffet several times a week as well as crisp salads from the buffet and cheese from the board every day. The highlight for anyone with a sweet tooth is the dessert buffet. (Days may vary and are included depending on the length of stay).

Healthy and tasty to start the day
Start your day full of energy and fortify yourself at our varied breakfast buffet: with freshly baked bread and rolls from the Pretzner bakery in Kössen. For a hearty taste, you will find a selection of regional sausage and cheese specialties from local butchers and cheese dairies.
Our buffet also offers a selection of fresh fruit, yogurt and various types of muesli - ideal for a healthy breakfast. Various jams from Darbo, honey from the region and a selection of fresh juices round off the breakfast offer perfectly. Enjoy your morning with a cup of aromatic coffee or one of our numerous teas from Teekanne and start the day well fortified.

The cuisine of Austria, and Tyrol in particular, has always been characterized by regional natural products, such as the aromatic and spicy cheeses made by dairy farmers from local milk according to traditional recipes. Fine, high-proof spirits are also produced in Austria by distillers with great passion and dedication.
Or the honey of industrious bees that collect their nectar on alpine meadows where wild mountain herbs still bloom today - like the honey from our neighbor, Alois Bamberger, from the "Lehenhof" in Oberbichlach. It simply couldn't be more regional!
Just like the eggs from happy hens from the Koasarahof farm in Bichlach - just 200 meters from the Riedl as the crow flies.
